Great work on engine, for full game I'd consider changing health bar location to somewhere else than above characters head, or atleast make it visible only on combat. Melee attacks would be great addition. Also it wouldn't hurt if you could buy ammo for weapons.

Slam a good story and polish around edges and you'll have a real gem in your hands.

Yes, i thought about that too... i think when i finally design the HUD i will place it somewhere on it.
Maybe with a little doom-style image of the player (with more wounds when health is lower).

Kinda dull, gameplay works, music is kinda annoying, but most of all, there wasn't anything new. Graphic wise, not bad. that's 'bout it
